Resveratrol

Resveratrol is part of a group of compounds called polyphenols. Resveratrol is a natural polyphenolic compound found in several plant species, including grapes, blueberries and peanuts. It is a type of phytoalexin, a class of compounds produced by plants in response to injury, fungal infection or UV radiation. Resveratrol is most commonly associated with red wine, as the skin of red grapes is an especially rich source of the compound. Resveratrol is known for numerous studies and possible health benefits.

NMN

NMN stands for nicotinamide mononucleotide, a molecule that occurs naturally in all life forms. At the molecular level it is a ribonucleotide, which is a basic structural unit of the nucleic acid RNA. Structurally, the molecule is composed of a nicotinamide group, a ribose and a phosphate group. NMN supplements may no longer be sold and in Europe it has been determined that it is not intended for human consumption. NMN is not (yet) approved in Europe. We therefore sell the pure chemical compound of NMN without additives and of course tested for purity and toxins. Nothing has changed about the product when it was still allowed to be sold.

Use and dosage

  • Resveratrol up to 1 gram per day (dissolve in a little oil or yogurt)
  • Mix up to 1 gram of NMN in water or let it dissolve under the tongue
  • We recommend using one small scale that can weigh 0.01 grams
  • Supplements are not a replacement for a healthy lifestyle and diet, but they can be a good addition
  • If you are ill or taking medication, always consult your doctor before using supplements
  • According to European legislation, NMN is only intended for research purposes
