Information about Pure Arctic Blue fish oil

Wild oily fish, such as herring, salmon, anchovies, sardines or mackerel, is a very good source of valuable unsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 EPA and DHA and vitamin D. Lean fish, on the other hand (kibbeling, fish fingers, tilapia and pangasius), hardly contain these important nutrients. Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil with vitamin D is for anyone who has difficulty with oily fish. The daily dose (5 ml) (one dessert or coffee spoon) of Pure Arctic Fish Oil contains the Omega-3 fats of (the equivalent of) more than half a herring.

It is scientifically proven that this amount of EPA and DHA is good for the heart**, is good for your eyesight* (helps you stay clear) and is good for your brain function*. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA* or 250 mg EPA/DHA**. These are legally approved health claims. As much as 20% of the fat in our brains consists of Omega-3 DHA; it is an important building block for the brain (just like calcium is for the bones). The vitamin D in fish oil is important for maintaining strong bones and strong teeth. Vitamin D also ensures good resistance and plays a role in maintaining strong muscles.

It is scientifically proven that EPA and DHA are also good for blood pressure* and the triglycerides** (blood fats) level. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3000* mg and 2000** mg EPA/DHA.
The daily intake of EPA and DHA should not exceed 5000 mg.

Why is taking Arctic Blue Fish Oil advisable?

Omega-3 fats are among our essential nutrients. This means that, like most vitamins, you must get them through food. Because many people do not like real oily fish (herring, mackerel, sardines), an Omega-3 supplement such as fish oil or algae oil is useful.

What does science say about omega-3?

Omega-3 fatty acids are among the nutrients that have been best researched. Thousands of studies have been done on the importance of these good fats for our health. That is why the European government has also drawn up official health claims that express the effect of Omega-3 fats on the body.

The freshness of this oil and the high content of EPA and DHA are the reasons why Pure Arctic Fish Oil is very suitable for increasing the Omega-3 Index and improving an disturbed Omega-6/Omega-3 fatty acid balance.

How do you use Arctic Blue fish oil?

It is ideal to use the oil with other fats in a meal. E.g. stirred into cottage cheese for breakfast. It can be so pure from the spoon even after you have eaten.
