Hoe gebruik je Hansen Fisetin supplement?

Fisetine 98% can be used daily as part of a conscious longevity routine. The recommended daily amount is maximum 1.5 grams per day, unless otherwise advised by a specialist.

• Various doses are used in studies of fisetin, often between:  0.1 and 1.5 grams per day.
• No negative effects have been observed in most studies at these amounts.
• Fisetin is fat soluble. Therefore, preferably take it during a meal with some fat, for example with yogurt, avocado, olive oil or another fat source.
• After opening, store in a cool, dry and dark place, out of the reach of young children.
• The package contains a free measuring spoon. One level spoon contains approx  0.3 grams and is dishwasher safe.
• For the most accurate dosage possible, we recommend using a  precision scale for supplements.  The measuring spoon is practical to use, but a scale gives the most exact measurement.

Hit-and-run method

In addition to daily use, fisetin is also regularly used within longevity routines according to the so-called hit-and-run method. Fisetin is dosed higher for a short period, followed by a longer break.

A commonly used guideline within this method is 20 mg fisetin per kilogram of body weight per day, during 3 consecutive days. Always keep a maximum of  1.5 grams per day.

This cycle is usually not repeated daily, but for example once every 4 to 6 weeks. This makes the hit-and-run method different from a standard daily dose.

Example: If you weigh 60 kg, you will need 1,200 mg of fisetin per day. If you weigh 80 kg, 20 mg per kg would amount to 1,600 mg, but then you keep the maximum of  1,500 mg per day On.
