Medik8 Pure C15 special formula mimics how the body naturally keeps vitamin C stable in the skin. The vitamin C is “charged” because it is in a solution with 2 antioxidant allies. These 2 antioxidants (vitamin E and L-glutathione) regenerate the vitamin C molecule as soon as it is used into a stable, working antioxidant.

Main ingredients Medik8 Pure C15

  • L-ascorbic acid: protects the skin against free radicals and is an essential coenzyme for collagen synthesis. This makes it essential for the transport of collagen molecules in the dermis. Also disrupts the production of melanin (pigment) in the melanocytes (pigment cells), which reduces the appearance of new pigment spots.
  • Vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol): is an excellent lipid (fat) antioxidant and works in synergy with vitamin C.
  • L-Glutathione: is much better than vitamin E at recycling vitamin C. It increases the stability of the vitamin C molecule.

Facts about Medik8 Pure C15

  1. L-ascorbic acid is extremely stable and oxidizes easily in water, which can change the color of the solution (turning brown). Many vitamin C products come in the form of colored hydrating serums to disguise the problem of instability!
  2. Pure C15 is manufactured under nitrogen in an oxygen-free environment to ensure quality.

How do I use Medik8 Pure C15?

First build up with the C-Tetra and C Tetra INTENS before you start with the Pure C15 due to the high dose of vitamin C.

  1. Cleanse the skin with a cleanser from Medik8.
  2. Apply 4-5 drops directly to the skin in the morning.
  3. Should not be used around the eyes.
  4. Apply a day or night cream from Medik8 over this.
  5. The product has a shelf life of 6 weeks after opening, then throw it away.
  6. Store the product in the refrigerator or in a cool place
